During the statewide school closure over the coming weeks, Whitehorse students will be expected to bring home their school-assigned Chromebook devices. Even students who typically store and charge their devices at school will be asked to bring their computers home so that devices can be used for students and families to stay informed, continue learning from home, and pursue independent enrichment.
In addition, Charter Communications will offer FREE INTERNET SERVICE to any household with K-12 or college students that do not currently have internet connectivity. Charter will be prepared to start receiving requests on Monday, March 16. Please call 1-844-488-8395 to enroll in this service. Charter will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription at any service level up to 100 Mbps. To enroll call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.
