Whitehorse Middle School: Home

Libraries for Everyone

During the statewide school closure over the coming weeks, Whitehorse students will be expected to bring home their school-assigned Chromebook devices. Even students who typically store and charge their devices at school will be asked to bring their computers home so that devices can be used for students and families to stay informed, continue learning from home, and pursue independent enrichment.

In addition, Charter Communications will offer FREE INTERNET SERVICE to any household with K-12 or college students that do not currently have internet connectivity. Charter will be prepared to start receiving requests on Monday, March 16. Please call 1-844-488-8395 to enroll in this service. Families DO NOT need to qualify for free or reduced price lunch to access this service. For more information, please consult the document below.

Charter will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription at any service level up to 100 Mbps. To enroll call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.

What to Write a Novel...

Hey middle schoolers,

Why not write a novel while you are off school? Although the Advanced Learning Department cannot pay for the novel you write, we promise to print a hard copy of what you do and deliver it to you once school starts up again. Join students at Whitehorse and Black Hawk and have some fun writing!

The link is below and is here below and is the same link as the clickable NaNoWriMo Spring 2020 just for fun link below (copy and paste the Classroom Code so I can see your novel)
