Does there need to be permission to access OverDrive content for students 13 years or younger?

No. There is no need to get permission for students 13 years or younger (we don't get their permission to check out print books). Elementary students will only see books that are leveled for junvenile fiction or non-fiction. Students in MS will be able to see the juvenile and YA titles. HS students and adult patrons will be able to see all of the content from juvenile through adult selections.

Is there a way for the youngest students to have a generic username and password to OverDrive?

All students need to authenticate with their own username (ID number) and password. All teachers can access usernames and passwords through Infinite Campus.
