Jefferson Middle School: Destination Imagination

Destination ImagiNation

Destination ImagiNation is a worldwide program that encourages students to collaborate, take risks, and have fun while integrating STEM (science, technology, education and mathematics), arts, and service learning. Students also learn patience, persistence, flexibility, and understanding. Teams showcase their ideas at an annual tournament. This year's regional tournament will be held in February at a local school. Selected teams will advance to the state competition before the world finals.

At Jefferson, Destination Imagination is a weekly afterschool activity through MSCR, led by Ms. Liesch, Library Media Technology Specialist. Due to the limited number of students allowed per team, select students are invited to join at the beginning of the school year.
