How do I request reimbursement for my textbook?

Reimbursement will not be granted for books which were available through Central Library Media Services checkout (see box to the right).

If a book was not available through Central Library Media Services (Doyle Building, room 116) then you may purchase a copy to use for the semester and seek reimbursement from MMSD after successful completion of the course.

At the end of the Youth Options Course, bring the textbook, receipt for purchase, and a note with the course taken (and at which institution), and contact information (student and parent's name, address, phone number) to the Doyle Administration Building (545 W. Dayton Street, Madison) Room 124. Nancy Battist will be happy to assist you.   Reimbursement is contingent on passing the course, as well as not highlighting or writing notes in the textbook.

You can expect to receive reimbursement six weeks after returning the materials.

How do I get my Youth Options textbooks?

Central Library Media Services has textbooks for some of the Youth Options classes. These textbooks may be checked out and used by MMSD students for a loan period of one semester. To see if the textbook that you need is available please view the video below; it will show you how to search in the MMSD library catalog system. If the book that you need is available, please come to the Doyle Building, 545 W. Dayton St. room 116 to check it out OR have your school librarian put a hold on it for you & ask for it to be shipped to your home school site.

If the required textbook is not available through MMSD's library system you should purchase it. You may seek reimbursement for the purchase price. Please see the box to the left which explains this process.
